My Story
Why I paint.
I paint because I have always been moved by beauty—the kind placed here by a loving Creator.
Beauty in people and relationships. In Christ. In nature and light. In motherhood, family, old buildings, history, and even in imperfect, everyday things.
I believe beauty inspires us to live better, more honest, and more hopeful lives.

The Painting That Began It All
After losing my daughter, Lily, an image would not leave my mind.
I saw her standing beneath the Tree of Life, offering its fruit to our family.
I searched for someone to paint it for me, to help it move from an image only I could see to something we could hold and learn from.
No one could—or would.
So I made the decision to learn to paint it myself. What began as an answer to a quiet sorrow became one of the greatest gifts I have ever received.

For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
